Our marble tables have had an anti-dust, water resistant, UV protection applied at the time ofmanufacture. The bases for these tables have been acid washed followed by electrophoresis (placedinto an electrified tank to remove all particles) then they are powder coated. This furniture is very durable outside and requires little care EXCEPT that the surface is porous.We highly recommend they give the table a sealant coating top, sides and bottom. This will stop any substance penetrating from the top and any mildew build up from moisture penetrating below and surfacing under the sealant.
