Kwila is a hardwood commonly used for outdoor furniture due to its strength, stability and resistance to insects and decay. Because of the durability of the timber it will withstand exposure to the elements without the need for major maintenance.

Seasonal changes in weather can cause fittings to work loose. It is recommended that fixtures and fittings be tightened periodically to avoid potential damage. We also recommend that furniture be protected from the elements wherever possible when not in use, either by storing indoors or by the use of a protective cover.
